The iRemodel Process (Subfloor & Dust Containment)
1. Wood Acclimation:
We deliver hardwood materials to your home days before installation, ensuring the planks adjust to your home’s specific humidity. This critical step prevents future buckling, cupping, and winter gapping.

2. Dust & Jobsite Control:
Before any demolition begins, we seal off the work area using ZipWall barriers and negative air pressure systems. We keep the disruption isolated so your family can continue living comfortably.

3. Subfloor Preparation:
A flat floor starts underneath. We inspect, secure, and level the subfloor—driving screws to eliminate squeaks and pouring self-leveling compound where needed—so your new planks lay perfectly flat.

4. Seamless Transitions:
The mark of true craftsmanship is in the finishing details. We make precision undercut cuts around stone fireplaces, door casings, and transitions so your new floors flow naturally without clumsy gaps.
